How to spoiler text on Discord?

I need to highlight texts on Discord to make them more prominent. How do I Spoiler them?

Highlight the text before sending it, and click the Eye icon that pops up in the floating formatting menu. Once you hit send, the text will appear as a black bar that others have to click to reveal!

Here are two simple ways to spoiler text:
Using symbols:

• Type || before your text.
• Type your message.
• End with || (e.g., ||secret||).

Using the menu (Desktop):

• Type your message.
• Highlight the text you want to hide.
• Click the eye icon in the pop-up.

To hide text behind a spoiler warning on Discord, simply put two vertical bars on both sides: ||like this||! Text effects like this certainly create a bit of mystery for the person who receives the message.
