How to unpin someone on Snapchat?

Pinning and unpinning a friend on Snapchat is pretty easy. I'm sure you must have unknowingly pinned someone, and now you want a way to unpin. Not to worry, all you need to do is open Snapchat and tap the speech bubble icon at the bottom to open your Chat screen. Long-press the pinned conversation. A menu will pop open; tap Chat Settings and select Unpin Conversation.
 
To unpin anyone on Snapchat, go to your Chat screen and press and hold on their name at the top of your list. When the menu pops up, tap on Chat Settings, then select Unpin Conversation. The chat will immediately drop back into its normal chronological order!
 
  • Go to Chats
Open the Snapchat app and go to your Chat screen.
  • Select the conversation
Press and hold on the pinned chat that you want to unpin.
  • Open settings
Tap Chat Settings from the menu that appears.
  • Remove the pin
Select Unpin Conversation to remove the pin. The chat will move back to its normal chronological position in your list.
 
To unpin a chat, swipe right from the camera screen to your Chats list. Tap and hold the pinned friend's conversation. From the menu that appears, select ‘Chat Settings’ and then tap ‘Unpin Conversation’. Their conversation will immediately go back to normal chronological order.
 
In your Chat feed layout, find the pinned friend with the pin glyph far right. Long press the contact row to bring up the contextual action sheet. Click Chat Settings > Unpin Conversation. The thread will be detached directly from the highest priority anchor and revert to chronological sort order based on the most recent packet or snap timestamp that was transmitted.
 
Open Snapchat and tap the Chat screen.
Tap and hold the conversation that you have pinned.
On the Menu, click on Chat Settings, and then on Unpin Conversation.

The person will not receive a notification that they have been Unpinned and the actual chat will not be deleted. It just returns to its place in your conversations.
 
Open Snapchat chats and find the person that you pinned. Press and hold their "talking" for a moment and you will see Chat Settings.

You'll need to locate the Unpin Conversation option.

That will do the trick! It won't delete the messages, or even remove the person from the conversation, but rather, it will just remove the chat from the pinned section.
