How to unfollow on TikTok?

I followed a lot of TikTok accounts when I first joined, but my feed has become really cluttered. I want to unfollow some accounts I no longer watch. How do I unfollow someone on TikTok?

It’s super easy. Go to their profile → tap "Following" → it'll flip to "Follow" and you're unfollowed. On some versions, you tap the person-with-checkmark icon instead.

Pretty simple:

• Go to the person’s TikTok profile.
• Tap the Following button.
• It’ll change back to Follow and that means you’ve unfollowed them.

Hey! You can also clean things up as you scroll by tapping Following on any video from an account you no longer watch.

If you’re cleaning up a lot of accounts, try this:

• Start with accounts you haven’t interacted with in a while.
• Unfollow anything that no longer matches your interests.
• You can follow them again later if you change your mind.
