How to underline in Discord?

I’m trying to figure out how to underline my text in Discord chats. I know you can make text bold by putting asterisks (**) around it, and I know how to do italics and strikethroughs, but I can't seem to get the underlining to work.

It’s quite simple and similar to how you make text bold or italic. To underline text in Discord, you just need to place two underscores (_text_) on both sides of your message. For example, typing __your text here__ will make it show up underlined in the chat. It works perfectly on both the mobile and desktop apps.

To underline text in Discord, place two underscores on each side: __like this__. For other styles, use asterisks for bold (**text**) or italics (*text*), and tildes for ~~strikethrough~~ (~~text~~). It’s that easy to make your messages stand out!

For Discord, double underline text to emphasize. For instance, __important message__ is changed to important message. It can be used to draw attention to something in aat.

For Discord, double underlining with two underscores either side to side or on the sides of the line will allow you to underline any text.

For instance, if you write the word of that article and underlined, then __read that word__ will appear underlined.

This can be used for highlighting something important, without being bold and/or in capitals.
