How to clear the cache on Instagram?

Hey people! Need a bit of assistance here. So, lately my Instagram feels very slow.The app takes time to open and switching between reels has also gotten slow. Before you blame my phone, please know that other apps are working just fine, it's Instagram that's troubling me. Is there a way to clear the cache data of my Instagram profile?

I know how I think it works on an iPhone. So basically, you go to the app settings and then Instagram; there you'll find an option to offload the app. If you don't find it, just go ahead and delete the app from your phone, and after a few minutes, redownload it. Be sure to remember your Instagram ID and password before doing anything.

I can tell you about Android devices. They have a built-in button specifically for clearing app caches.

Open Settings: Go to your phone's Settings and tap on Apps
Find Instagram: Scroll down your app list and select Instagram.
Open Storage Settings: Tap on Storage or Storage & cache.
Clear the Cache: Avoid tapping 'Clear Data'

Tap the Clear cache button. If you tap Clear data or Clear storage, you will be logged out of your account and lose saved drafts.

If you are having trouble with Instagram, any of these w reasons can be the cause.
- You haven't updated your phone to the latest version of Android/iOS
- You haven't updated Instagram to its latest version

Check both, and if the problem still persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
