How to change paypal username?

Every time I send or receive money, I don't want them to know my real identity - thus, I want to change the username for privacy reasons. Any easier way to do it?

I guess you are referring to the display name - here are the steps to follow: Go to Settings > Account > Personal details > Name

Paypal takes the username from the mail ID. You cannot change the paypal username - you can only change the display name, but not an annonymous handle

For my case, I thought that there is an easier way to hide the username using the toggle option. Since it was not there - I ended up using Paypal.me to receive the payments.

If you are worried about the privacy while receiving payments using Paypal, either receive it using a business name or by using Paypal.me
