I was scrolling through TikTok and wondered how some of these creators actually get paid for posting videos. What are the different ways people earn money on the app?
 
Actually, there are various methods that the content creators can use to monetize on TikTok. These include the TikTok Creator Reward Program, live gifting by viewers, product sales, and brand sponsorships. Many of these creators use a combination of all these rather than sticking to one method alone.
 
Honestly, brand deals are a big one. Companies pay creators to feature or review their products in videos. The more engaged an audience is, the more attractive a creator can be to brands. Some creators also make commissions when people buy products through their affiliate links.
 
Some creators basically use TikTok to run a business. They sell their own merch, promote products through TikTok Shop for commissions, or get paid to make videos for brands. So even if they don't have millions of followers, there are still ways to earn money!
