How do you get honeycomb in Minecraft?

[janmenjoy]

I am a new player in minecraft. I am trying to break the bee nest, but I am not getting any honeycomb, instead I am attacked by honey bees to death. How to collect the honeycomb in Minecraft?

[Richard Branson]

Your aim should be that the bees don't sting you. While you are using the sheer make sure to use a campfire at the bottom preventing the bees from attacking you

Are you playing in the creative mode? If so, you can bypass the harvesting process by typing /give @p minecraft:honeycomb

[StackHunter09]

• Place a Beehive/Bee Nest with bees inside.
• Put a Dispenser facing the hive.
• Fill the Dispenser with shears.
• Place a Comparator behind the hive.
• Connect the Comparator to Redstone dust.
• Connect the Redstone to the Dispenser.
• When the hive reaches Honey Level 5, the Comparator activates.
• The Dispenser automatically uses the shears.
• Honeycombs drop out automatically.
• Add a Hopper + Chest underneath to collect them.

If you want to get the honeycomb, go to the honey nest, use a sheer and right click on the mouse to get the honeycomb
