Does Royal Mail deliver on Sunday?

I’m expecting a parcel that was sent through Royal Mail, and the tracking suggests it could arrive over the weekend. Does Royal Mail normally deliver parcels on Sundays?

Yes, but only for parcels, not letters. Royal Mail runs Sunday deliveries through their Tracked 24 and Special Delivery Guaranteed services, at no extra charge. Royal Mail delivers 7 days a week with these Tracked and Guaranteed services, at the same price as any other day.

Royal Mail doesn't deliver regular letters or standard mail on Sundays. However, if you are waiting for a parcel sent using a premium service like Tracked 24 or Special Delivery Guaranteed, they do make Sunday deliveries in most areas.

If you are expecting a weekend delivery, Royal Mail is one of the few ones in the UK that actually do. While regular mail takes a break, Royal Mail delivers parcels on Sundays if you use their premium service, such as Tracked 24 or Special Delivery.

Yes, but mostly for parcels! Royal Mail delivers over a million parcels every Sunday, specifically for services like Tracked 24 and partner retailers like Amazon and Boots. However, standard regular letters and ordinary 1st or 2nd class mail won't arrive on a Sunday—posties only deliver parcels and express packages over the weekend.

Yes, Royal Mail operates Sunday parcel deliveries across the UK.
• Eligible: Royal Mail Tracked 24 and major retailer contract parcels.
• Excluded: Standard letters, cards, and ordinary 1st/2nd Class stamped post.
Collections from commercial parcel postboxes also run Sundays.
