How to unadd someone on Snapchat?

I'm trying to clean up my Snapchat friends list and there are a few people I want to remove, but I want to make sure I do it right without making things awkward. If anyone knows exactly what the other person sees when you unadd them, I’d really appreciate the breakdown!

To remove a friend on Snapchat, press and hold their name on the Chat screen, tap Manage Friendship, and select Remove Friend. Snapchat does not send a notification when you remove someone, keeping the action discreet. However, they can figure it out through a few indirect signs like Hidden Snap Score, Pending Messages and Story Visibility.

I went through this exact cleanup recently, and the good news is Snapchat won't send them any notification.

• Find the Contact: Locate the person's name on your Chat screen.
• Open Friendship Settings: Press and hold their name, then tap Manage Friendship.
• Remove Friend: Tap Remove Friend. To verify it worked, search your friends list to ensure their name no longer appears.
