How to go live on TikTok?

I recently created a TikTok account and noticed that some creators can go live. But I don’t see the option on my account. Can anyone tell me how to go live?
 
If you don’t see the LIVE button on your screen, then most likely your account does not qualify for going LIVE yet.
To go LIVE when your account qualifies, you will need to:
  • Click + at the bottom
  • Swipe to LIVE
  • Type in the title and then click on GO LIVE
Since you have just created an account, you will need some time before you can go LIVE.
 
This may be due to the fact that you have just created a new TikTok account. There are certain requirements for going LIVE on TikTok, which include:
  • Being 18 years of age
  • Fulfilling the follower requirement according to the country you are in
  • Meeting all the requirements set by TikTok to go LIVE
 
TikTok requires you to be at least 18 years old and have a certain number of followers to go LIVE. If you are eligible, try the following steps:
  • Tap “+”
  • Choose LIVE
  • Add a title
  • Go LIVE
If you meet the requirements but still don’t see LIVE, you can report the issue through TikTok’s Settings and privacy.
 
Yep, that’s normal if you’ve just created your account. TikTok only gives the LIVE option to accounts that meet its eligibility requirements, including being 18 or older. So if you don’t see the LIVE option yet, you’ll need to meet those requirements first.
