How to see mutual friends on Snapchat?

I'm trying to see how many mutual connections I have on Snapchat. Is there any option to do that? I can only see my friend list, but not mutual friends.

Snapchat follows a strict privacy policy that doesn't allow it to show mutual connections. That being said, there is a way you can get a look at your friends and an approximate number of mutual friends you both have. To see this, simply open your Snapchat app (make sure you are logged in with your active account). Now click on the +(user icon) on the top right corner of the app. Upon clicking, you'll see that a list of all your connections comes up. In the search bar, you can type your connection's name. When you hit search, the connection's name comes up along with an approximate number of mutual they have with you, e.g. 10+ mutual friends.

Hey, so, I was also a bit confused with this, but apparently there is some privacy policy that doesn't allow Snapchat to show any mutuals. What you can do, though is:

  • Open Snapchat and tap the Add Friends icon (the person with a plus sign) in the top right corner.
  • Scroll down to your Quick Add list.
  • Look right under a person's username. If you share connections, you will see a small tag like "3+ Mutual Friends."
While it will not give you specific names, this lets you know you are in the same circles before you send a friend request!
