How to turn on dark mode on Snapchat?

I'm trying to switch my Snapchat to dark mode, but I can't seem to find the option anywhere. The blinding white screen at night is driving me crazy, and I'd love to get it switched over! It would be great if anyone could help.
 
You can turn on dark mode on iPhone and Android devices. Just go to Snapchat and tap on your profile icon in the top left. Now, go to Settings, scroll down to App Appearance, and select Always Dark. If you're on Android, you might need to select Restart to see the applied change.
 
Tap your Snapchat profile icon, go to Settings, and scroll down to App Appearance. Just select Always Dark to instantly turn on dark mode and save your eyes!
 
Switching your Snapchat between normal and dark mode is super easy.
  • Tap your profile icon in the top-left corner.
  • Tap the gear icon to open Settings.
  • Scroll down and select App Appearance.
  • Choose Always Dark to switch.

I cannot forget to see the flashes of white lights appearing on Snapchat during the dark moments before the time they really all the way applied this.

How to rectify this is by tapping on your Bitmoji face in the top right corner, then clicking on the Settings cog wheel and then scrolling down to 'App Appearance'.

Then tap ‘Always Dark'. If the entire phone is already in the dark theme, this 'Match System' does a terrific job as well.
 
The type of UI rendering that works is dependent on your OS client build:

To turn ‘Always Dark' or ‘Match System' on or off in iOS: Edit your profile picture from the profile page, click on Settings (gear icon) > My Account > App Appearance.

On Android: On the Bitmoji app click the settings gear, and then 'Always Dark'.

Keep in mind that Dark Mode used to be a hidden feature behind Snapchat+ on older Android OS versions, and is now offered worldwide. If the Styling cache doesn't load up a Night Theme palette, reopen and re-close the APK.
